10.12.2007:

* mDAVAR 2.0 FINAL VERSION RELEASED!

* mDAVAR 2.0 BETA 3 RELEASED!

Hebrew is now available in three font sizes. Released as obfuscated MIDP 1.0 version - should run faster and on more phones than beta2 release.

Fixed many bugs and compatibility problems. Released Czech, English, Portuguese and Spanish dictionaries. Get in download section

* mDAVAR 2.0 BETA 1 RELEASED!

After more than three years (filled mostly by work on Davar3), there is new update of mDavar.

Most of the sources were completely rewritten (with a big help of Vladimir Marchenko). mDavar2 require mobile phone with Java MIDP 2.0 (most resent phones) and ability to run JAR file of size about 300kB (some Nokia phones still cannot).

In download section you will find first beta version of mDavar 2.0 (English-Hebrew and Czech-Hebrew).
New features: Options dialog where you can select size and style of latin based font, two sizes of Hebrew font, predefined background colors and user refined color.
To avoid problems to use specific API for data file access (as in mDavar 1.0 which works only on Siemens phones), all dictionary data are stored now inside JAR file. This should work on all phones which are able to run this (quite big) JAR file.
HINT: In case of problem with JAR size, you can delete one direction of dictionary from JAR. Use AltapSalamander or TotalCommander to delete files from JAR directly. Delete

This will reduce size of JAR to one half.
