Many manuscripts could give the not so right impression if trusted to be more than it's true intention. Yea that first phrase could no doubt give a headache.. Notwhithstanding, if God is indeed sovereign (& HE IS according to the evidence passed over the ages) then of course that providence is comprehended only by those that acknowledge it. According to the universal Law and Testimony, those that don't purely trust it fall into the trap of being wise in their own sight.
YEA rather the key is to turn doubt into faith, such as pointed out in posts:
- Interesting Differences - between - the Hebrew Texts
- Ps. 68:27 DILIGENCIA in reverence to the Sovereign LORd
- Amazing Identical Passages
- the law and testimony vs. scholarship & manuscripts
Therefore the right discernement is according to it's evidence and purpose thoroughly throughout. Yea if any man lack wisdom let him ask of God because we are still limited to only see a glimpse of the panorama, if even, while Christ the risen Everlasting Lord (on highest) already sees the whole picture.
