The
Oral Torah (Rabbinic Laws, Traditions) in practice in Jesus' Day and
finally collected and put into print after the destruction of Jerusalem.
What
is the Mishna? Answer: The Hebrew verb 'shanah'
literally
means 'to repeat [what one was taught] and is used to mean 'to learn'.
The term 'Mishna' basically means the entire body of Jewish religious
law that was passed down and developed before 200 CE, when it was
finally redacted by Rabbi Yehudah haNasi (Judah the Prince).

This is a translation of the
Bible based on
the original King James Version. It is a simple word for word

nothing doctrinally, but to simply update the spelling and
vocabulary. I have not changed the grammar because that could
alter the doctrine. http://www.inspiredidea.com/home/
Keil & Delitzsch Commentary OT
A
classic in conservative biblical scholarship. Within its more than
7,500 pages, the authors cover the most important aspects of the Bible
narrative, its historical background, and its original-language Hebrew
words, always maintaining a clearly interdenominational and evangelical
perspective, speaking of the Bible as the historically accurate and
inspired Word of God and passionately defending the Bible against those
who would question its origin, authorship, and accuracy. Big thank is again directed to Werner Horlings, who prepared all conversion of this module (25 MB of texts).

navázal na překlad svého řádového spolubratra Pavla Škrabala (1. vyd.
1948) a sám se stal předchůdcem pozdějšího liturgického překladu
Václava Bognera (1. vyd. 1989).Ucelené vydání překladu NZ od O. M.
Petrů vyšlo poprvé v roce 1969 v Křesťanské akademii v Římě (KAŘ), kde
Petrů po své emigraci převážně působil.©Křesťanská akademie, Řím 1970.
Přes značné úsilí se nepodařilo vyjasnit otázku autorských práv
vzhledem k ukončení činnosti posledního držitele ©, Křesťanské akademie
v Římě. Na základě kontaktů s dominikánskou provincií i s jedním z
posledních spolupracovníků KAŘ a kolegou O.M.Petrů, prof. Karlem
hlavním textem k soukromé četbě i bohoslužbě. Nicméně se necítí vázán
předchozí českou překladatelskou tradicí ani souběžným úsilím
katolických překladatelů (zejména o 20 let starší Sýkorův překlad) a
opouští do značné míry archaické tradiční obraty.
„textus receptus“ (přijatý text), ovšem provádí i
vlastní textovou kritiku ve vztahu k odchylným variantám. Studijní
charakter Pavlíkova překladu je zřetelný z bohatého poznámkového
aparátu, v němž jsou obsaženy překladové varianty, textová kritika,
lingvistické a teologické poznámky.Poděkování patří panu Rostislavu Pavlíkovi (http://www.pavlikrecords.sk/) za svolení zveřejnit text a panu Martinovi Volnému, který s velkou pečlivostí provedl digitalizaci textu.

Ancient Hebrew Dictionary
(1064 words)
This dictionary contains all the words used in the Bible, which occur
25 times or more. For example the word and !wXar (used 182 times) is
derived from the root Xar (used 615 times), both being included in the
list. The word tyXar (used 1 time) is also derived from the same root,
but is used less than 25 times in the Bible and is not included in the
dictionary. The Hebrew words in this dictionary do not contain any of
the prefixes or suffixes as found in the Hebrew text. By removing the
prefixes and suffixes of the Hebrew words in the text, the word can be
found. For example the word "~ymXh", includes the prefix "h" meaning
"the". When this is removed we have "~ymX" meaning "heavens". As
another example, the word "wrmayw", meaning "and they said", has two
prefixes (w and y), and one suffix (w). When these are removed we have
"rma" meaning, "to say"

novozákonní řečtiny je řecko-český slovník k Novému zákonu středního
rozsahu se zaměřením na jazykovou stránku slovní zásoby Nového zákona.
Měl by umožnit těm, kdo mají alespoň základní znalosti mluvnice
novozákonní řečtiny, číst bez problémů řecký Nový zákon. U nás už po
několik desetiletí slouží Řecko-český slovník k Novému zákonu,
zpracovaný původně J. B. Součkem, který vyšel v r. 1997 už v pátém
vydání. Jedná se nepochybně o znamenité a v mnohém ohledu osvědčené
dílo. Součkův slovník vznikal ovšem v určité době a snažil se pokrýt
potřeby tehdejších studentů. Je to např. částečná náhrada konkordance k
Septuagintě. Má i některé další specifické rysy. K nim patří např.
rozdělení hesláře do tří oddělených částí (slova obecná, vlastní jména,
obtížné tvary) nebo uvádění slovesných hesel ve tvaru infinitivu.
Naproti tomu náš slovník se věnuje více jazykové stránce novozákonní
slovní zásoby a snaží se svou podobou přiblížit většině existujících
slovníků novozákonní řečtiny. Je jistě také prospěšné, existuje-li
větší nabídka slovníků, aby si uživatel mohl vybrat ten, který mu lépe
vyhovuje.Copyright: (c) Doc. Ladislav Tichý, Th.D, (c)

Dictionary The dictionary
v1.97Ec contains over 36000 entries and, through
additional word construction with hundreds of prefixes and suffixes,
may generate more, leading to many hundreds of thousands of 'words'
that can be formed by declension and conjugation. Present emphisis is
on classical Latin and late Latin, but medieval Latin entries are
increasing. WORDS provides a tool to help in translations for the Latin
student and a memory jog for researchers. This version has been
considerably enhanced in neo/modern Latin, by including, with his kind
