Hi folks,

after longer period of time, I briefly report what is new in D3 development.

1)LEXICONS.
Lexicons can be for Hebrew, Greek or Latin-based words (English, Czech,..). Each word have, as in Davar 2.4 description part, which starts with "headings" (e.g. Word:, Type:, Strong#, etc.) and descriptional text below. In this section, there can be "TAGGED" text, as in book files. So, here can be used references (Gen 1:1) for jumps, Strong#, notes, variants, unused words, Jesus colored words etc.
Searched text can be typed by keyboard, mouse via table of HE(GR) chars or double click on text in book. Or from context menu "Look at" command. After change in combo, lex is synchronised and text is stored in history.





Pressing Enter in combo box activate FILTER. Idea is to restrict word list only to words with some substring. For example below, list only words with substring "KhaG". In status bar below can be see that 24 records fit and icon of "funnel" is red (active). You can use * and ? in pattern as wildcards. Press of Reload button will arase filter.



2) DICTIONARIES:

As in Davar 2.4, dictionaries are word-word type (or phrase-phrase). Again, Hebrew, Greek and Latin-based combinations can be used. Fileformat is different, now only one *.dic file (which include index).
On picture, you can see in bottom-right corner Czech-Hebrew dictionary. Opposite button turns direction. Idea of FILTER is used here again, Reload button clears filter. Both Lexicons and Dictionaries try to synchronize with any word, which user click, dictionary auto-turn-direction if necessary.



Davar3 is now in alpha state. Quite stable, but many things must be done yet. Sources are now about 42 000 lines of C. But even now, it can be usable tool for Scripture studies. For those of you, who wish to try Davar AND wish to report me bugs (to speed-up development) I will prepare FIRST PUBLIC VERSION OF DAVAR3. Stay tuned
