Jonah 1:17
But the LORD prepared a great fish, to swallow up Jonas. And so was Jonas in the bowels of the fish three days and three nights.

Matthew 12:40
For as Jonas was three days, and three nights, in the whale's belly: so shall the son of man be three days and three nights in the heart of the earth.

Quote:
Three days and Three nights in the heart of the earth

Wednesday- Christ is Crucified and died for our sins
Exodus 12:21
And Moses called for the elders of Israel and said unto them: choose out and take to every household a sheep, and kill passover.
Numbers 21:9
And Moses made a serpent of brass and set it up for a sign. And when the serpents had bitten any man, he went and beheld the serpent of brass and recovered.
John 3:14-15
14And as Moses lift up the serpent in the wilderness, even so must the son of man be lift up,  15that none which believeth in him perish: but have eternal life.

Thursday night - (wednesday evening our time) Christ is buried
Thursday - Annual High Sabbath of Unleavened bread
John 19:31-33
31The jews then because it was the Sabbath even that the bodies should not remain upon the cross on the Sabbath day (For that Sabbath day was an high day) besought Pilate that their legs might be broken and that they might be taken down.  32Then came the soldiers and brake the legs of the first, and of the other which was crucified with Jesus.  33 When they came to Jesus and saw that he was dead already, they brake not his legs:
Psalms 34:19-20
19Great are the troubles of the righteous, but the LORD delivereth them out of all.  20He keepeth all their bones, so that not one of them is broken.

Friday night
Friday - Women Prepare spices
Mark 16:1
And when the Sabbath day was past, Mary Magdalen, and Mary Jacobi, and Salome, bought ointments, that they might come and anoint him.
Notice that (in order to fit the timing) the Sabbath speaking of here would have to be the annual High Sabbath that just passed.

Saturday night
Saturday rested (Weekly Sabbath)
Luke 23:56
And they returned, and prepared odours, and ointments; And the Sabbath day they rested, according to the commandment.

Sabbath evening - Sonday (sondown - til - sonrise) - Resurrection
Notice there were two key Sabbaths, the women had prepared the spices on Friday after the Annual Sabbath, rested on the Weekly Sabbath and then:
Matthew 28:1-6
1The Sabbath day at even which dawneth the morrow after the Sabbath, Mary Magdalene and the other Mary came to see the sepulchre.  2And behold there was a great earthquake. For the angel of the Lord descended from heaven: and came and rolled back the stone from the door, and sat upon it.  3His countenance was like lightning, and his raiment white as snow.  4 For fear of him the keepers were astunned, and became as dead men.  5The angel answered, and said to the women: Fear ye not. I know well ye seek Jesus which was crucified:  6he is not here: he is risen as he said. Come, and see the place where the Lord was put.
Mark 16:2-6
2And early in the morning the next day after the Sabbath day, they came unto the sepulchre, when the sun was risen.  3And they said one to another: who shall roll us away the stone from the door of the sepulchre?  4And when they beheld it, they saw how the stone was rolled away. For it was a very great one,  5and they went into the sepulchre, and saw a young man, sitting on the right side, clothed in a long white garment, and they were abashed.  6 He said unto them, be not afraid, ye seek Jesus of Nazareth, which was crucified. He is risen, he is not here. Behold the place, where they put him.
Luke 24:1-6
1On the morrow after the Sabbath, early in the morning, they came unto the tomb and brought the odours which they had prepared, and other women with them.  2And they found the stone rolled away from the sepulchre,  3and went in: but found not the body of the Lord Jesu.  4And it happened, as they were amazed thereat: lo two men stood by them, in shining vestures.  5And as they were afraid, and bowed down their faces to the earth: they said to them: why seek ye the living among the dead?  6He is not here: but is risen. Remember how he spake unto you, when he was yet with you in Galilee,
John 20:1
The morrow after the Sabbath day came Mary Magdalene early when it was yet dark, unto the sepulchre, and saw the stone rolled away from the tomb.
This is literally "First of Weeks" that is the Wave Sheaf Offering taking into account:
John 20:17
Jesus said unto her: touch me not, for I have not yet ascended to my father. But go to my brethren and say unto them, I ascend unto my father, and your father: my God and your God.
Ephesians 4:9
That he ascended: what meaneth it, but that he also descended first into the lowest parts of the earth?

Note -> Pentecost follows!
Deuteronomy 16:9-10
9Then reckon the seven weeks, and begin to reckon the seven weeks when the sicle beginneth in the corn,  10and keep the feast of weeks unto the LORD thy God, that thou give a freewilloffering of thine hand unto the LORD thy God according as the LORD thy God hath blessed thee.

Leviticus 23:15-16
15And ye shall count from the morrow after the Sabbath: even from the day that ye brought the sheaf of the waveoffering, seven weeks complete:  16even unto the morrow after the seventh week ye shall number fifty days. And then ye shall bring a new meatoffering unto the LORD.

Ephesians 4:10
He that descended, is even the same also that ascended up, even above all heavens, to fulfil all things.
