What's more ironic is that the codex vaticanus ends Mark at 16:8; ..for they were afraid.

And can be baffling how such codexes are even trusted even according to the scholarship thereof:

From generation to generation meaning it is the people that God (in his sovereign providence) chose to pass the reality of truth, and not any specific worldly organization to preserve his verity.

Constantine's first act was to order fifty copies of the Greek Bible to be written on vellum for his capital, Constantinople. The words "thorow Jesus Christ" are not in the originals.

The verse actually reads:

In God's sovereign providence, the Scriptures were already preserved even without the help of any empire; nor did it need any worldly organization of men that couldn't stop those that preserved the Scriptures and decided to join them (like clay mixed with iron). The devout outcasts (and many martyrs) that purely preserved the Scriptures (by divine providence) kept the truth from generation to generation (even in the old latin bible before Jerome who vaguely copied from them) that led to John Wycliffe's translation and later to William Tyndale and devout friends wholy bible from the original tongues (that is: hebrew, greek and latin.)
Yea as it is originally written:

Luke 23:38

His superscription was written over him, in greek, latin, and hebrew letters: This is the King of the Jews.

Who am i to judge if God allowed certain manuscripts to have a few more details. That does not nullify nor certify any particular manuscript, but gives room to those that can spiritually discern it. Yea, to God onely be the credence and not men; as it is written:

Thus it is the manner how that onely the heavenly father revealeth according to his perfect timing that matters.

1 John 5:6-8

6This Jesus Christ is he that came by water and blood, not by water only: but by water and blood. And it is the spirit that beareth witness, because the spirit is truth. 7(For there are three which bear record in heaven, the father, the word, and the wholy ghost. Here's a perfect ensample how that the onely that deserves credence is the wholy ghost of God (that brings the verity to remembrance for the spiritually minded.)

Though manuscripts have changed, what endureth from generation to generation is the truth of the law and the testimony. If it speaks not after this meaning, then it's not verity.
Thus when the fruits are spiritually examined, in this diligent manner the truth comes to light. The reformers well knew this, and the rulers of today ought to learn from those dire past lessons lest they repeat such great calamity.
No wonder on the 1530 Pentateuch prologue WT strongly adverted against his fellow Roman Catholic scholars and prelates (who excommunicated him):

God still lives and asked me to tell you and the rest of the world, that HE is alive and well.

My prayer was answered this Thursday night, when my daughter was removed from life support and had been in a long coma. I asked God to give her my place, if their was any space reserved for me.

He answered that same night when she opened her eyes and spoke to us.

At first I thought "him" does get the point thorow (of course if acknowledging God?s son.) Still by rendering "it" or "the same" best translates the original tongue because the passage as a whole is alluding to an important detail that the word was first conceived within the very God to then dwell among us in the flesh (Emmanuel.)
Many passages back up that fact:

Isaiah 7:14

And therefore the Lord shall give you a token of himself: Behold, a virgin shall conceive and bear a son, and shall call his name Emmanuel.

Matthew 1:18-23

Thank you, she was happy to know I prayed. She had not anything to eat or drink for 6 days and the seventh day she awoke and could only say "ice". The respiratory tube had made her throat very sore. I prayed again with her thanking God as tears rolled down her face.

How interesting your post is to say the least, for God certainly works in mysterious ways.

II Cor 2:14 But thanks be unto God which always leads us to triumph in the Anointed, and openeth the odor of his knowledge through us in every place. 2:15 That of Christ, we are unto God a sweet odor, in those being saved, and in those perishing: 2:16 to them indeed an odor from death into death: but to those an odor from life into life. Moreover, English does not give "word" a gender, but just calls word a it. Here's a perfect ensample how languages express words differently; for ensample in Portuguese word is palavra and is feminine, and amazingly when the New Testament was first translated from Greek into Portuguese was at liberty to render it:

Jo 1:1 No princ?pio era a palavra, e a palavra estava com Deus, e Deus era a palavra.
Jo 1:2 Esta estava no princ?pio junto a Deus.
Jo 1:3 Todas [as coisas] foram feitas por ela, e sem ela nada do que foi feito se fez.

Amen, and thank you for that enlightenment. "It" sounds as if you are truly a "man of God". May He bless you continually, now and in the "blink" of the eye.

She is taking food now, as well as spiritual, as I told her, we all fall short and are in need of the Favor of God, though our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ.
So be "IT".
