Way before the audacity of religious hypocrisy and erroneous interpretation, rather there was the verity of God. And it is true to be of the Creator because otherwise He wouldn't of been able to inspire the wholy men to write the precise details about the reality we live in.

Yea, before there was even Galileo, or even human astronauts, thousands of years ago there was the Scriptures that already had revealed the science thereof.

Quote:
The Creator "stretcheth out the north over the empty, and hangeth the earth upon nothing." Job 26:7

Quote:
The Creator "laid the foundation of the round world and all that therein is." Psalm 89:11

There's a foundation to the "round" world, so it's not necessarily some globe or only a flat earth, but likely the world of the sky and ground altogether is as an atrium of sorts.
Psalms 89:11
The heavens are thine, the earth is thine: thou hast laid the foundation of the round world and all that therein is.

Quote:
The Creator "sitteth upon the Circle of the world" Isaiah 40:22

Study diligently and even find the value of pi: 1 Kings 7:23 (see also 2 Chron. 4:2)

It is incredible that even all the technological advancement during these past 10 years or so was even fortold in the Scriptures! What other known time is there that technology has increased like this? .. And it was already documented thousands of years ago as a prophetic detail mentioned in the Scriptures:
Daniel 12:4
Isaiah 11:9
Matthew 24

For the scripture|prophecy| came never by the will of man: but wholy men of God spake as they were moved by the wholy ghost. -1Pt. 1:21

Quotes are taken from TRC ---- Tyndale (Rogers, Coverdale, Cranmer) English translation of the Scriptures in the 1530s.

1 Chronicles 16:30
All the earth fear him, he stablished the earth that it can not move.

Psalms 93:1
The LORD is king, and hath put on glorious apparel, the LORD hath put on his apparel, and girded himself with strength: he hath made the round world so sure, that it can not be moved.

Tell it out among the Heathen, that the LORD is king: and that it is he, which hath made the round world so fast, that it can not be moved, and how that he shall judge the people righteously.

1 Samuel 2:8
He raiseth up the poor out of the dust, and lifteth up the beggar from the dunghill: to set them among princes, and to inherit them with the seat of glory. For the pillars of the earth are the LORD's, and he hath set the round world upon them.

Isaiah 45:18
For thus sayeth the LORD: even he that created heaven, the God that made the earth, that fashioned it, and set it forth: I have not made it for naught, but I made it to be inhabited. Even I the LORD, without whom there is none other.
