Mark 4:3-32
3Hearken to. Behold; The sower went out to sow,  4and it fortuned as he sowed, that some fell by the wayside, and the fowls of the air came and devoured it up.  5Some fell on a stony ground: where it had not much earth: and by and by sprang up, because it had not depth of earth:  6and as soon as the sun was up it caught heat: and because it had not rooting it withered away.  7And some fell among the thorns, and the thorns grew up and choked it, so that it gave no fruit.  8And some fell upon good ground: and did yield fruit that sprang and grew: and brought forth some thirty fold, some forty fold, and some an hundred fold.  9And he said unto them: He that hath ears to hear, let him hear.  10 When he was alone, they that were, about him with the twelve asked him of the similitude.  11And he said unto them: To you it is given to know the mystery of the kingdom of God: But unto them that are without, shall all things be done in similitudes:  12that when they see, they shall see, and not discern: and when they hear they shall hear, and not understand: lest at any time they should turn, and their sins should be forgiven them.  13And he said unto them: Perceive ye not this similitude. And how ye shall know all similitudes?  14The sower soweth the word.  15These be they which are by the ways side, where the word is sown, to whom as soon as they have heard it, cometh the devil and taketh away the word that was sown in their hearts.  16And these also are they that are sown on the stony ground: which when they have heard the word, at once they receive it with joy,  17yet have no root in themselves, and so endure but for a season: afterward as soon as any trouble or persecution ariseth for the word's sake, anon they fall.  18And these are they that are sown among the thorns, which hear the word of God,  19and the care of this world and the deceitfulness of riches, and the lusts of other things enter in, and choke the word, and it is made unfruitful.  20And these that were sown in good ground, are they that hear the word and receive it, and bring forth fruit, some thirty fold some sixty fold, some an hundred fold.  21And he said unto them: is the candle lighted, to be put under a bushel, or under the bord: is it not therefore lighted that it should be put on a candlestick?  22For there is nothing so privy, that shall not be opened: neither so secret, but that it shall come abroad.  23If any man have ears to hear, let him hear.  24And he said unto them: take heed what ye hear. With what measure ye mete, with the same shall it be measured unto you again. And unto you that have shall more be given.  25For unto him that hath, shall it be given: And unto him that hath not, shall be taken away, even that he hath.  26And he said: so is the kingdom of God, even as if a man should sow seed in the ground,  27and should sleep and rise up night and day: and the seed should spring, and grow up while he is not ware.  28For the earth bringeth forth fruit of herself, first the blade, then the ears, after that full corn in the ears.  29And as soon as the fruit is brought forth, anon he thrusteth in the sickle because that harvest is come.  30And he said: whereunto shall we liken the kingdom of God? or with what comparison shall we compare it?  31It is like a grain of mustard seed, which when it is sown in the earth, is the least of all seeds that be in the earth:  32And after that it is sown it groweth up, and is greatest of all herbs: and beareth great branches so that the fowls of the air may dwell under the shadow of it.

Matthew 6
1Take heed to your alms. That ye give it not in the sight of men, to the intent that ye would be seen of them. Or else ye get no reward of your father in heaven.  2Whensoever therefore thou givest thine alms, thou shalt not make a trumpet to be blown before thee, as the hypocrites do in the synagogues, and in the streets, for to be praised of men. Verily I say unto you, they have their reward.  3But when thou doest thine alms, let not thy left hand know, what thy right hand doth,  4that thine alms may be secret, and thy father which seeth in secret, shall reward thee openly.  5And when thou prayest, thou shalt not be as the hypocrites are. For they love to stand and pray in the synagogues, and in the corners of the streets, because they would be seen of men. Verily I say unto you, they have their reward.  6But when thou prayest, enter into thy chamber, and shut thy door to thee, and pray to thy father which is in secret: and thy father which seeth in secret, shall reward thee openly.  7But when ye pray, babble not much, as the gentiles do: for they think that they shall be heard, for their much babbling's sake.  8Be ye not like them therefore. For your father knoweth whereof ye have need, before ye ask of him.  9After this manner therefore pray ye. O our father, which art in heaven hallowed be thy name.  10Let thy kingdom come. Thy will be fulfilled, as well in earth, as it is in heaven.  11Give us this day our daily bread.  12And forgive us our trespasses, even as we forgive them which trespass us.  13 Lead us not in to temptation: but deliver us from evil, (For thine is the kingdom and the power, and the glory for ever.) Amen.  14For and if ye shall forgive other men their trespasses, your father in heaven shall also forgive you. (your trespasses)  15But and ye will not forgive men their trespasses, no more shall, your father forgive your trespasses.  16Moreover when ye fast, be not sad as the hypocrites are. For they disfigure their faces, that it might appear unto men that they fast. Verily I say unto you, they have their reward.  17But thou when thou fastest, anoint thine head, and wash thy face,  18that it appear not unto men how that thou fastest: but unto thy father which is in secret: and thy father which seeth in secret, shall reward thee openly.  19 Gather not treasure together on earth, where rust and moths corrupt, and where thieves break through and steal.  20But gather ye treasures together in heaven, where neither rust, nor yet moths corrupt: and where thieves neither break up, nor yet steal.  21For wheresoever your treasure is, there are your hearts also.  22The light of the body is thine eye. Wherefore if thine eye be single, all thy body is full of light.  23But and if thine eye be wicked, then is all thy body full of darkness. Wherefore if the light that is in thee, be darkness: how great is that darkness?  24No man can serve two masters. For either he shall hate the one, and love the other: or else he shall lean to the one, and despise that other. Ye cannot serve God and mammon.  25Therefore I say unto you, be not careful for your life what ye shall eat, or what ye shall drink, nor yet for your body, what raiment ye shall wear. Is not the life more worth than meat? and the body more of value than raiment?  26Behold the fowls of the air: for they sow not, neither reap, nor yet carry into the barns, and yet your heavenly father feedeth them. Are ye not better than they?  27Which of you (though he took thought therefore) could put one cubit unto his stature?  28And why care ye then for raiment? Behold the lilies of the field, how they grow. They labor not, neither spin.  29And yet for all that I say unto you, that even Solomon in all his royalty, was not arrayed like unto one of these.  30Wherefore if God so clothe the grass, which is today in the field, and tomorrow shall be cast into the furnace: shall he not much more do the same unto you, O ye of little faith?  31Therefore take no thought saying: what shall we eat, or what shall we drink, or wherewith shall we be clothed?  32(After all these things seek the gentiles) For your heavenly father knoweth that ye have need of all these things.  33But rather seek ye first the kingdom of heaven, and the righteousness thereof, and all these things shall be ministered unto you.  34Care not therefore for the day following. For the day following shall care for itself. Each days trouble is sufficient for the same self day.

Matthew 7:1-12
1Judge not lest ye be judged. (comdemn not and ye shall not and be condemned)  2For as ye judge, so shall ye be judged. And with what measure ye mete, with the same shall it be measured to you again.  3Why seest thou a mote in thy brother's eye, and perceivest not the beam that is in thine own eye?  4Or why sayest thou to thy brother: (Brother) suffer me to pluck out a mote out of thine eye, and behold a beam is in thine own eye.  5Hypocrite, first cast out the beam out of thine own eye, and then shalt thou see clearly to pluck out the mote out of thy brother's eye.  6Give not that which is holy to dogs, neither cast ye your pearls before swine, lest they tread them under their feet, and the other turn again and all to rent you.  7Ask and it shall be given you: Seek and ye shall find, Knock and it shall be opened unto you.  8For whosoever asketh receiveth, and he that seeketh findeth, and to him that knocketh, it shall be opened.  9Is there any man among you which would proffer his son a stone if he asked him bread?  10Or if he asked fish, would he proffer him a serpent?  11If ye then which are evil, can give to your children good gifts: how much more shall your father, which is in heaven, give good things, to them that ask of him?  12Therefore whatsoever ye would that men should do to you, even so do ye to them. This is the law and the prophets.

Hebrews 11:1-6
1Faith is a sure confidence of things which are hoped for, and a certainty of things which are not seen.  2By it the elders were well reported of.  3Thorow faith we understand that the world was ordained, by the word of God: That by the means of things which appear, things which are invisible might be known.  4By faith Abel offered unto God a more plenteous sacrifice than Cain: by which, he obtained witness that he was righteous, God testifying of his gifts: by which also he being dead, yet speaketh.  5By faith was Enoch translated that he should not see death: neither was he found: for God had taken him away. Before he was taken away, he obtained record, that he had pleased God:  6but without faith it is unpossible to please him. For he that cometh to God, must believe that God is, and that he is a rewarder of them that seek him.

1 Peter 3
1Likewise let the women be in subjection to their husbands, that even they which believe not the word, may without the word be won by the conversation of the wives:  2while they behold your pure conversation coupled with fear.  3Whose apparel shall not be outward with broided hair, and hanging on of gold, other in putting on of gorgeous apparel:  4but let the hid man of the heart be uncorrupt, with a meek and a quiet spirit, which spirit is before God a thing much set by.  5For after this manner in the old time did the wholy women which trusted in God tire themselves, and were obedient to their husbands,  6even as Sara obeyed Abraham and called him lord: whose daughters ye are as long as ye do well, and be not afraid of every shadow.  7Likewise ye men dwell with them according to knowledge, giving honour unto the wife, as unto the weaker vessel, and as unto them that are heirs also of the grace of life, that your prayers be not let.  8In conclusion, be ye all of one mind, one suffer with another, love as brethren, be pitiful, be courteous, (meek)  9not rendering evil for evil, neither rebuke for rebuke: but contrariwise, bless: remembering that ye are thereunto called, even that ye should be heirs of blessing.  10For whoso listeth to love life, and to see good days, let him refrain his tongue from evil, and his lips, that they speak not guile:  11Let him eschew evil and do good: let him seek peace, and ensue it.  12For the eyes of the Lord are over the righteous, and his ears are open unto their prayers: but the face of the Lord beholdeth them that do evil.  13Moreover who is it that will harm you if ye follow that which is good?  14Notwithstanding happy are ye if ye suffer for righteousness' sake. Nevertheless fear not though they seem terrible unto you, neither be troubled:  15but sanctify the Lord God in your hearts. Be ready always to give an answer to every man that asketh you a reason of the hope that ye have, and that with meekness and fear:  16having a good conscience, that when they backbite you as evil doers, they may be ashamed, forasmuch as they have falsely accused your good conversation in Christ.  17It is better (if the will of God be so) that ye suffer for well doing, than for evil doing.  18Forasmuch as Christ hath once suffered for sins, the just for the unjust, for to bring us to God, and was killed, as pertaining to the flesh: but was quickened in the spirit.  19In which spirit, he also went and preached unto the spirits that were in prison,  20which were in time past disobedient, when the long suffering of God abode exceeding patiently in the days of Noah, while the ark was a preparing, wherein few (that is to say eight souls) were saved by water,  21which signifieth baptism that now saveth us, not the putting away of the filth of the flesh, but in that a good conscience consenteth to God, by the resurrection of Jesus Christ,  22which is on the right hand of God, and is gone into heaven, angels, power, and might, subdued unto him.

Titus 3:1-11
1Warn them that they submit themselves to rule and power, to obey the officers, that they be prompt unto all good works,  2that they speak evil of no man, that they be no fighters, but soft, shewing all meekness unto all men.  3For we ourselves also were in times past, unwise, disobedient, deceived, in danger to lusts, and to divers manners of voluptuousness, living in maliciousness and envy, full of hate, hating one another.  4But after that the kindness and love of our saviour to man ward appeared,  5not of the deeds of righteousness which we wrought, but of his mercy, he saved us, by the fountain of the new birth, and with the renewing of the holy ghost,  6which he shed on us abundantly, thorow Jesus Christ our saviour,  7that we once justified by his grace, should be heirs of eternal life, thorow hope.  8This is a true saying. Of these things I would thou shouldest certify, that they which believe God, might be studious to go forward in good works. These things are good and profitable unto men.  9Foolish questions, and genealogies, and brawlings and strife about the law avoid, for they are unprofitable, and superfluous.  10A man that is the author of sects, after the first and the second admonition avoid,  11remembering that he that is such, is perverted, and sinneth, even damned by his own judgement.

Proverbs 3
1My son, forget not my law, but see that thine heart keep my commandments.  2For they shall prolong the days and years of thy life, and bring thee peace.  3Let mercy and faithfulness never go from thee: bind them about thy neck, and write them in the tables of thine heart.  4So shalt thou find favor and good understanding in the sight of God and men.  5Put thy trust in the LORD with all thine heart, and lean not unto thine own understanding.  6In all thy ways have respect unto him, and he shall order thy goings.  7Be not wise in thine own conceit, but fear the LORD, and depart from evil:  8so shall thy navel be whole, and thy bones strong.  9Honour the LORD with thy substance, and with the firstlings of all thine increase:  10So shall thy barns be filled with plenteousness, and thy presses shall flow over with sweet wine.  11My son, despise not the chastening of the LORD, neither faint when thou are rebuked of him.  12For whom the LORD loveth, him he chasteneth: and yet delighteth in him even as a father in his own son.  13Well is him that findeth wisdom, and obtaineth understanding,  14for the getting of it is better than any merchandise of silver, and the profit of it is better than gold.  15Wisdom is more worth than precious stones, and all the things that thou canst desire, are not to be compared unto her.  16Upon her right hand is long life, and upon her left hand is riches and honour.  17Her ways are pleasant ways, and all her paths are peaceable.  18She is a tree of life to them that lay hold upon her, and blessed are they that keep her fast.  19With wisdom hath the LORD laid the foundation of the earth, and thorow understanding hath he stablished the heavens.  20Thorow his wisdom the depths break up, and the clouds drop down of the dew.  21My son, let not these things depart from thine eyes, but keep my law and my counsel:  22So shall it be life unto thy soul, and grace unto thy mouth.  23Then shalt thou walk safely in thy way, and thy foot shall not stumble.  24If thou sleepest thou shalt not be afraid, but shall take thy rest and sleep sweetly.  25Thou needest not to be afraid of any sudden fear, neither for the violent rushing of the ungodly, when it cometh.  26For the LORD shall be beside thee, and keep thy foot that thou be not taken.  27Refuse not to do good unto him that should have it, so long as thine hand is able to do it.  28Say not unto thy neighbour: Go thy way and come again, tomorrow will I give thee:  29where as thou hast now to give him. Intend no hurt unto thy neighbour, seeing he hopeth to dwell in rest by thee.  30Strive not lightly with any man, where as he hath done thee no harm.  31Follow not a wicked man, and choose none of his ways:  32for the LORD abhoreth the froward, but his secret is among the righteous.  33The curse of the LORD is in the house of the ungodly, but he blesseth the dwellings of the righteous.  34As for the scornful, he shall laugh them to scorn, but he shall give grace unto the lowly.  35The wise shall have honour in possession, but shame is the promotion that fools shall have.
